Daddy Cool

Genre: Comedy || Cast: Suneil Shetty, Aftab,  Ashish Chowdary, Javed Jaffery, Kim, Arthi Chabriya|| Director: K. Murali Mohan Rao || Rating: 1.5 / 5

Plot: Its d day of his Father’s funeral and the mess that happens around is result of DADDY COOL. Jus a copy paste job of Frank Oz’s incredibly funny ‘Death at a Funeral’.

ScreenPlay: Douglas, essayed by Sharat Saxena, passes away. He is the father of Steven Lazarus(Suniel Shetty). The devoted son arranges a funeral his sprawling villa in Goa.

The decent funeral turns into a weird scene with his guests getting trickled one by one. All the persons, be the self centred novelist brother Brian (Ashish) of Steven or his cousin sister Maria (Tulip) with her boyfriend Michael (Aftab) who gets mistakenly doped because of her brother Harry’s (Chunkey) pills or the henpecked hubby Carlos (Jaffrey) with his forever suspicious wife Jenny (Kim), a fouled mouthed uncle Murphy (Prem Chopra) and a wannabe model Ayesha (Sophie) who arrives at the wrong place at the wrong time.

This is when Sunil’s wife adds to fuel to his worries by inviting an estate agent, pinto, so that the villa may be disposed and a new flat can be booked.  Adding to this is the appearance of Andrew (Rajpal Yadav). On questioned by Steven, Andrew reveals that he was the gay lover of the late Douglas.  Andrew put forwards the demand 20Lakhs to maintain this as a secret.
Then the drama continues with other scenes like, Micheal standing half nude on the roof top and her GF, Maria revealing that she is pregnant. Then putting Andrew inside the coffin thinking he is dead and Carlos turning out to be good for Jenny as she thinks he ran away from Ayesha though he would have ran back to his car to get the Condomn and many more shitty scenes.
Finally movie takes a climax with the heart touching speech by Steven which makes everyone to realize their mistakes. Andrew accepts and clears that he jus did all that to take a revenge against Douglas’s IT raid.
If you have more money and time, then you can watch this movie.

Hangover

Genre: Comedy || Cast: Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha || Director: Todd Phillips || Rating: 4 / 5

Plot: Tracing back  about the mess that happens in thier friend’s bachelor party night and finding a friend who will be missing.

Story: Junior high school teacher Phil (Bradley Cooper), dentist Stu (Ed Helms) and the wacky man-child Alan (Zach Galifianakis) join  Doug (Justin Bartha) for a roadtrip to Vegas a couple of days before his wedding. Phil’s the unofficial leader of the group, Stu is the voice of reason, and Alan…well, he’s just plain weird. So this motley group checks in to Caesar’s Palace and makes their way to the roof for a toast to the impending loss of Doug’s bachelorhood. Flash forward eight or so hours and it appears as though all hell has broken loose in their hotel suite.

Stu comes to on the floor next to a chicken (why? we’ll never know) missing a tooth and without a single memory of how he spent last night. Same goes for Alan who, clad only in his undies, stumbles into the bathroom only to be forced into a fully awakened state by the appearance of a tiger. Phil’s in no better shape, although he does escape having a startling encounter with an animal as his first conscious thought after coming to. A chair is smoldering away, the place looks like a tornado blasted through it, Doug’s nowhere to be found, and there’s a baby – yes, a baby – in a closet. And not one of these guys remembers anything.

And so The Hangover takes off from there. Retracing their steps, the guys discover their time in Vegas was loaded with some of the most bizarre encounters and events imaginable. And if you haven’t seen the trailer, I’m not going to blow any surprises for you here by going into all the juicy details of their night on the town. Suffice it to say, their exploits symbolize what makes ‘what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas’ such a powerfully important edict.
